As the global economy grows, both Japanese and foreign corporations business activities have become increasingly international, yet due to differences in the language and social systems in Japan compared to other parts of the industrialized world, such as the U.S.A. and Europe, reaching agreements and settling disputes internationally have often proven difficult.
However, it is important to remember that Japan imported a majority of its legal statues from European countries during the Meiji era. Therefore, Japanese corporations can easily communicate with American and European corporations by virtue of the logics and norms common to our laws.
It is with this understanding that we are proud to offer legal assistance to both domestic and foreign corporations at reasonable fees and without delay.
The worldwide growth of information technologies has led to the inevitable expansion of intellectual property laws to protect those ideas. Intellectual properties are protected by intellectual property rights through the awarding of patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Naturally, the corporation’s business activities are intimately linked to their intellectual property rights. Our firm advises and assists corporations in maximizing their intellectual property rights, thus enhancing their business.
